AI Lenses

Six Lenses on your work, every day of your Sprint

Your team meets its human Head Coach once or twice a week. In between, six AI Lenses keep the work moving. Each one looks at your work from a single field, challenges your thinking, asks for your evidence and helps you get to the next step.

Finance Lens

AI

Checks whether the numbers carry the story.

Helps you with

  • Business models and unit economics
  • Financial models and scenarios
  • Funding round preparation

Asks things like

  • “Which customer conversation is this price based on?”
  • “What has to be true for this to break even, and who has tested it?”

Technology Lens

AI

Checks what the technology can do today, and what it cannot.

Helps you with

  • Exponential technologies and where they fit
  • Tech stack choices, with pros and cons per use case
  • Build, buy or partner decisions

Asks things like

  • “What is the simplest stack that proves this in two weeks?”
  • “Who has run this technology at your scale, and what did they learn?”

AI Architecture Lens

AI

Looks for the smallest AI stack the new business can stand on.

Helps you with

  • The Minimum Viable AI Tech Stack
  • Agents, data and the human review points between them
  • What to automate first and what to leave to people

Asks things like

  • “Which decision does this agent make, and who checks it?”
  • “What data does it need on day one, and do you actually have it?”

Risk & Governance Lens

AI

Looks for the risk before the regulator or the board does.

Helps you with

  • Foreseeing operational, legal and reputational risk
  • Current and upcoming national and international policy
  • Governance practices that fit an AI-native business

Asks things like

  • “Which rule applies to this in your markets, and from when?”
  • “If this goes wrong in public, who answers for it?”

Investor Lens

AI

Reads the strategy the way a sceptical investor would.

Helps you with

  • Stress-testing the strategy
  • Rebuilding it for the investors and stakeholders you want
  • The questions you will get in the room

Asks things like

  • “Why would the best team in this market not have done this already?”
  • “What did the last three customers who said no tell you?”

People Lens

AI

Looks at whether the organisation can live with the change.

Helps you with

  • Abundance mindset and adaptability
  • Roles, skills and ways of working for AI-native teams
  • Bringing the rest of the organisation along

Asks things like

  • “Who inside the company loses something if this succeeds?”
  • “What have the people who will do this work said about it?”

Every Lens asks the same first question in its own field: what is this based on, and who did you hear it from?

How they work with your Head Coach

One charter for everyone

Your Head Coach and the Lenses work from the same Sprint charter: your company profile, the Sprint objectives and the agreed scope of work.

Your Head Coach is in charge

The Head Coach sets the direction, chooses which Lenses your team uses, sees everything they write and can pause any of them.

Differences are shown, not hidden

When a Lens reads something differently from another Lens or from your Head Coach, it says so in a clearly labelled note with its reasoning. You and your Head Coach decide.

The right Lens answers

A question is handed to the Lens whose field it belongs to. Ask the Finance Lens about your tech stack and the Technology Lens picks it up.

Your Head Coach is always within reach

If a Lens cannot answer properly, is unsure, or detects that this is not working for you, it brings in your Head Coach.

When you use them

When you have a question

Ask any Lens, any day, from your team space.

When you hand something in

The Lenses it concerns review your evidence or deliverable and tell you what is strong and what is missing.

Before a gate

Every Lens gives you the hardest questions you will face in its field, while there is still time to answer them.

Your Sprint material stays yours

The Lenses read your Sprint material from a protected knowledge base that only your Sprint can reach. It is not used to train AI models and is not shared with third-party systems. Everything a Lens writes is marked as AI.
